The hotel is named after Johann Philipp Graf Stadion ( 1763 - 1824 ) who was a statesman and foreign minister. It was built in the Biedrmeier epoche style in 1824 / 1825, and is registered as an historic monument. The hotel was renovated throughout the past years.
