The Reina Cumayasa is located in a vast, isolated area, without any neighbouring facilities. Like the general road network on the island, the 4-mile road that leads to the hotel's property is not in very good condition (potholes, etc.). Facing Catalina Island, between the mouth of River Cumayasa and the Caribbean Sea, this hotel is located 7.5 miles from the port town of San Pedro de Macoris and within one hour from the airports of La Romana and Las Americas. It takes at least two hours by bus from the airport at Punta Cana.
