The 'NDSM-pier' is a booming location opposite Amsterdam Central Station. Theatre festivals and art exhibitions often take place around this former 'NDSM' wharf. Near this well known square one can find the royal palace 'Koninklijk Paleis', the shops of the 'Kalverstraat' and 'Magna Plaza' and the wax statue museum 'Madame Tussauds'. By tram one can also easily reach the 'Rembrandtplein', 'Leidseplein' and 'Museumplein'.
