The 72 rooms Das Triest Vienna is a luxury hotel in the center of the city. With the opening of the hotel in 1995, Vienna finally had its own hip hotel center piece: a sharp contrast to the city's charming, late 19th-century art nouveau architecture. A former coach station on the route from Vienna to Trieste, interior architect Sir Terence Conran's renovation converted the property into a unique and contemporary five-star hotel.
