This victorian mansion, complete with a little private chapel (which is today used for wedding ceremonies), was built in 1874 as a family residence. Although being transformed into a hotel they have managed to retain the grandeur and warmth of what was the estate of a distinguished scottish family from the moment you step inside the imposing, carved sandstone doorway and into the wood-paneled porch to the restful reception hall, with its inviting armchairs and log fire. For the business traveler the hotel can provide a number of rooms that will compliment the desired ambiance, for the board level brainstorming sessions, major presentations, product launches or team building, and your equipment specifications can be arranged in advance.
